From its grand opening on May 4, 1905, Belmont Park has hosted some of racing’s most indelible moments, including the site for all 13 of the sport’s Triple Crown winners.Located in Elmont, New York, Belmont Park remains a vibrant track that continues to host some of the highest caliber racing in the country, including the annual Belmont Stakes Racing Festival in June centered on the Belmont Stakes, the last of the three Classic races to be contested every year. With more than 30,000 seats and a spacious backyard bolstered by its famous Japanese White Pine tree that serves as the park’s logo, Belmont remains home to must-see events such as the Stars & Stripes Racing Festival and the newly implemented Turf Trinity.

Last year I arrived about 90 minutes prior to the first race on Friday and Saturday. Friday I parked my car in the main car park. Saturday I was bused in from one of the car parks to the right of the main stand. It was ok though and I had no problems finding my way to my table/meal about 30 minutes before the racing got underway.

Parking at Belmont is very good. There are plenty of shuttle buses from the car parks before and afterwards. I had a drink after racing last year in order that the crowd could thin out but 95.000 New Yorkers soon had it "on their toes" when racing finished. After the Kentucky Derby I don't think you will see the 14th triple crown winner but you will have a superb day and I hope you find a few winners to pay for the day. Silver or Red.........you won't have a problem!!!
