Democratic Rep. Jared Golden, a moderate known for defying party orthodoxy, is in a tight race to keep his seat in Congress against Austin Theriault, a stock car driver and Republican state lawmaker.

The Maine Department of the Secretary of State will host its ranked-choice run-off for the 2nd Congressional District race Tuesday afternoon. The tabulation will start at 1 p.m. at the Maine State Police headquarters in Augusta.

It is well past Election Day and there is still no winner in the race for Maine's Second Congressional District.
